Devi Gharti Magar is a famous Nepali Dohari Singer. She was born in Romaiya village of Baglung District. She was born at middle class family in hilly region.

She use to go forest to cut bushes and plants for her cattle at that time she always sing song. She was very interested to listen radio and to listen the song of national level singer. After the certain interval of time she came Kathmandu with Laxmi Bhujel and lives with her.

Then she started to sing at ‘Lali Guras Dohari sajha’ for her livelihood. Her first recorded song was ‘Batashaila rumal farara’ by Music Nepal. From that day she has recorded many songs with many singers.

She has got lots of love from many Nepalese who live in Nepal and outside the Nepal. She had visited many countries over the World. nowadays she is very busy to record the songs.
