She signed this film while she was still in the US. Immediately after 'Mero Best Friend', Karki signed Suresh Darpan Pokhrel's '3 Lovers', which was previously offered to Nisha Adhikari. Karki's debut release 3 lovers earned her a nomination for Popular Debutant Actor Female at the Online Filmykhabar Awards 2007 which she won.Priyanka is very active on social media.After bring crowned Miss Teen Nepal 2005, she worked as a VJ in Kantipur television for two years.
